We are a family-run PADI 5-Star Dive Center located on White Beach, Station 1 in Boracay, Philippines. With over 23 years of experience, we specialize in scuba diving, PADI certification courses, fun dives, and our popular Bubble Maker program for kids. Our mission is simple: to help you discover the underwater world safely and have an unforgettable experience. "Let the sea set you free!"
Not at all! We welcome complete beginners. Our Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program is specifically designed for first-timers. You’ll start with a short theory session and confined water practice, then enjoy a real open-water dive with our instructor — all in one day.
The minimum age for scuba diving is 10 years old (with parental consent for minors). We also offer our special Bubble Maker program for children aged 8–9 years old, where kids explore in shallow water (max 2 meters) under close supervision.
Scuba diving involves pressure changes, so certain medical conditions can make it unsafe. You must tell us if you have (or have ever had):
Heart problems, high blood pressure, or previous heart attack
Asthma or any breathing difficulties
Diabetes, epilepsy, or fainting spells
Pregnancy
Recent surgery or ear/sinus issues
Important: If you answer YES to any medical question, you will need a doctor’s approval before diving. Please be honest — your safety is our top priority.
We provide everything you need for diving:
Full scuba equipment (mask, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulator, tank)
Towels, drinking water, and snacks on boat trips
You should bring:
Swimsuit, sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses
Any personal prescription mask (optional but recommended)
Motion sickness tablets if you’re prone to seasickness
You can book directly through our website, by WhatsApp (+63 929 167 0812), or email (freewillydiving@gmail.com). We accept cash (PHP), bank transfers, and popular e-wallets. A deposit is usually required to confirm your booking.
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the type of booking (fun dive, course, or Bubble Maker). In general, cancellations made more than 7 days in advance receive a full or partial refund. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. We also offer free rescheduling for weather or safety-related cancellations. Please see our full Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
We recommend taking motion sickness medication (like Dramamine or Bonine) 30–60 minutes before the boat trip if you’re prone to seasickness. Our boats are stable, but Boracay’s waters can sometimes have swells. Let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to make you comfortable.
Boracay is a year-round diving destination, but the best visibility and calmest conditions are usually from November to May (dry season). June to October can have more rain and occasional typhoons, but diving is still possible on many days. We monitor conditions daily and will always prioritize safety.
The Dive Shop is open from 8AM to 8:30PM every day.
