Refund & Cancellation Policy
Free Willy Diving Boracay Effective Date: April 28, 2026
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing Free Willy Diving Boracay for your underwater adventure! We understand that plans can change, which is why we have created this fair and transparent Refund & Cancellation Policy. This policy applies to all bookings made through our website, by phone, WhatsApp, or in person.
We operate in a marine environment where weather, sea conditions, and diver fitness can affect operations. Our goal is to be as flexible as possible while ensuring the safety of our guests and the sustainability of our small, family-run business.
2. Cancellation by You (the Customer)
2.1 Standard Dives & Fun Dives

More than 7 days before the scheduled date: Full refund minus a ₱500 administrative fee per person.

3 to 7 days before: 50% refund of the total booking amount.

Less than 3 days before or No-Show: No refund. This includes late arrivals or failure to show up without prior notice.
2.2 PADI Certification Courses (Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, etc.)
Because courses require significant instructor time, materials, and scheduling, the following stricter policy applies:

More than 14 days before start date: Full refund minus ₱1,500 administrative + materials fee.

7 to 14 days before: 50% refund.

Less than 7 days or after course has started: No refund. Partial credit toward future courses may be offered at our discretion.
2.3 Bubble Maker Program (Children 8–9 years old)
Due to limited spots and dedicated instructor time:

More than 5 days before: Full refund minus ₱300 fee.

Less than 5 days or No-Show: No refund.
3. Cancellation or Changes by Us
We may need to cancel or reschedule for safety reasons. In these cases, you have the following options:

Bad weather, rough seas, or typhoon warnings: Full refund OR free reschedule to another date (valid for 12 months).

Diver not medically fit on the day: We will assess on-site. If we cannot safely proceed, we offer a full refund or reschedule (no penalty).

Insufficient participants for a scheduled trip: We will contact you at least 24 hours in advance. You may join another group, reschedule, or receive a full refund.
We will always prioritize your safety and will only cancel when absolutely necessary.
4. Rescheduling & Changes to Your Booking

More than 48 hours before: Free reschedule (subject to availability).

Less than 48 hours: ₱500 change fee per person (waived if due to medical or travel issues with proof).

Name changes: Free if done more than 24 hours before; ₱300 fee if within 24 hours.
5. Non-Refundable Items & Exceptions

PADI eLearning / digital materials (once accessed)

Dive equipment rental fees already used

Travel insurance or third-party services purchased through us

No-shows or late arrivals (more than 15 minutes past scheduled time)

Cancellations due to personal reasons after the course or dive has begun
6. Force Majeure & Government Restrictions
In cases of natural disasters (typhoons, earthquakes), pandemics, government travel bans, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will offer full credit toward future bookings valid for 24 months. Cash refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on our operational situation.

Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method. Bank transfers or e-wallet refunds may take slightly longer depending on your bank.
